20th MILLET TOUR DU RUTOR EXTREME A challenge within the challenge to become history

3rd February: the deadline for registrations to the 20th edition of Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême, the most freeride competition among the ski mountaineering ones which will offer this year a wonderful, spectacular and though race in order to celebrate in the best way the great importance of the twentieth edition.

Are you ready to become part of the history? A real “extrême” race which will take place in Aosta Valley, in Arvier, Valgrisenche and La Thuile municipalities from the 26th until the 29th March 2020. A real and unique Skialp competition, with some changes and a modern touch, as confirmed by the technical director Marco Camandona.

If you still don’t have a bib, hurry up! The registrations will officially close on Monday 3rd February (N.B. the registrations for the Youth race will close on the 28th February).

Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême which belongs to La Grande Course, the international event of the most spectacular and prestigious Alpine and Pyrenean races promises to offer to the most fearless athletes an outstanding course with air ridges and spectacular downhills. Four competition days, 4 stages (not three as in the past editions) with a total of 9.500 mt of uphill difference in elevation, 105 km of off-piste course, 60 km of uphills, 45 km of downhills, steep uphills, 6 km of aerial ridges. Moreover, along each stage the athletes will climb up over 3000 mt of altitude.

As for the ranking it will be a challenge within the challenge: the organizing committee decided to add a special prize of € 2000 for the first male and female team that will win the opening stage (this special prize will be added to the rich final prize money and it will be awarded only if the team will finish all the four stages organized).

For Junior and Cadet categories the competition days will be two and not three and they will take place on the 28th and 29th March 2020. For Youth categories the registrations will close on the 28th February 2020.
